STADIP ULTIMAX Satisfies Requirements of Composite Safety Glasses According to EN ISO12543

In the protection of plants and buildings in the public, military or institutional area like embassies, government buildings or prisons, composite safety glasses are used which are shatterproof and impede bullets. STADIP ULTIMAX satisfies these requirements according to EN ISO 12543, however, it is considerably lighter and thinner than the classic composite safety glasses of the STADIP PROTECT series.

As a supplement to the existing composite safety glasses against attacks of different kinds in the STADIP PROTECT series, ULTIMAX can then be installed if, for technical or formal reasons, value is attached to lightness and slimness of windows, doors or facade panels, e.g. for large-sized doors. There the weight is decisive for the design of the fittings.

In order that composite safety glasses acquire their shatterproof effect, if they are made completely of glass, they must be particularly thick. With the slimmed-down ULTIMAX construction, polycarbonate sheet is packed in glass.
