Avery Dennison, a labeling, packaging materials and solutions company, has designed new Select Solutions Security portfolio of materials.
The new security materials portfolio can be used by companies to counter product tampering and counterfeiting, and help in maintaining long-term integrity of the brands.
Select Solutions Security portfolio of materials will be suitable to segments such as pharmaceutical, automotive and consumer packaged goods.
The security portfolio includes features like customizable ultra-violet and infra-red print options, enhanced thermal transfer graphic solutions and chemical-resistant coating for liquid products.
Avery Dennison North America label and packaging materials product manager Michael Welch said, "Our Security materials use elements such as two-dimensional holograms and in-label watermarks and threads, to help brand owners create clear marks that can assure consumers - or, if absent or broken alert them of tampering or counterfeiting."
