Carestream Dental, a provider of dental and medical imaging system, has introduced new CS 1200 intraoral camera.
The CS 1200, with the image resolution of 1024 x 768, captures crisp, clear images of the macro, single teeth, arches, smiles, smallest cracks, caries and other anomalies.
The CS 1200 features 6-LED illumination system which automatically adjusts to ensure perfectly and uniformly lit images in any lighting condition.
Carestream Health business development chief marketing officer and director Edward Shellar was quoted by pharmabiz as saying that dental professionals want to obtain the highest quality images for optimal diagnosis, treatment planning, patient communication and case documentation.
"Providing practitioners with an affordable entry point into digital imaging, the CS 1200 puts high quality intraoral images within reach of almost any practice," Shellar added.
