According to report, Argentina’s domestic demand for flat products increased in May, the price will be unchanged for the next month.
Demand for hot rolled coils (CRC) and hot rolled coils (HRC) in May is seen to rise 15% month-on-month. It is expected to be continuous in June though some analysts see the demand will not rise again in June.
The domestic supplier, Ternium Siderar, said in one statement that price will not change in the short term or long term.
Domestic price for HRC is about $970~US$1,020/ton and for CRC is about US$1,060~US$1,130/MT ex-mill.
