Florida Tile celebrated the grand opening of its new 15,000-square-foot designer showroom concept and warehouse in Dallas with a VIP reception.
Located at 9755 Clifford Drive (near Love Field airport), the Florida Tile facility is a re-purposed and re-designed structure featuring 9,700 square feet of warehouse, a 4,000-square-foot customer showroom and display area, a 700-square-foot contractor sales showroom, and more than 500 square feet comprising meeting and conference areas.
According to Sean Cilona, marketing director for Florida Tile, the showroom and warehouse were created to serve a large cross section of Dallas-area customers. "It features an extensive design center with the latest styles in porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, glass and other tile, plus, trim and decoratives. The Dallas showroom and warehouse is the newest in Florida Tile showroom concepts in a large-scale installation, with specialized lighting plus merchandising and sample support."
The opening ceremony included remarks from Florida Tile CEO Michael Franceschelli and Luca Setti, senior executive vice president branch sales and organization, and officials of including honorary Italian vice consul Vincenzo Enrico De Nardo (former consul for the State of Texas), as well as the Dallas District 8 mayor and president of the local Chamber of Commerce. Local business and government officials and guests totaled nearly 200.
"This is a significant milestone for Florida Tile," said Cilona. "It marks the first opening of a new location since the purchase by Panariagroup in 2006. Though we have had many successful remodels in that time, there is no greater sign of progress than expansion, so Florida Tile congratulates Ric Cornwell and the entire staff of the Dallas branch and who helped in this effort."
