According to data released by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), Peru’s rebar shipments totaled 112,797 tons in March, rising by 10.6% from a month ago.
However, the country’s rebar production only increased by 0.5% month on month to 79,956 tons in March.
Meanwhile, INEI’s data of rebar shipments and production is from the data provided by the local steelmakers Siderperú and Aceros Arequipa.
