Axor has a new set of names to add to its impressive repertoire. The designer brand of the Hansgrohe company is launching its highly anticipated collection with Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec at ICFF.
The dynamic design team from Paris has taken their talent to the bath and is making it personal. Their collaboration is a permanent dialogue enhanced by their distinct personalities and a shared belief in personal balance, form and function and design excellence. Their work is often the result of experimental activity. Fittingly, these are the qualities found in their first Axor bathroom collection.
Axor Bouroullec is based on imagination, interaction, individual expression and the idea that all should ''eel free to compose.'' Made up of faucets, washbasins, a bathtub, shower components, and accessories, Axor Bouroullec invites users to think about how they use the space and interact with water to create their own customized bathroom configurations.
Erwan and Ronan were the first to test the functionality and feasibility of the line. Like the mise-en-scne of a film, every installation placement choice affects the overall look of the bathroom and the way the user approaches water. The understated and timeless design of the individual pieces takes a back seat to the overall landscape. Unconventional, ingenious and quietly chic, Axor Bouroullec offers a completely new solution to personalize the bathroom without having to custom-order essential components.
