CSC Has Announced Its Combined Sales Revenue in May ,Decreasing by 1% M-O-M

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the major blast furnace mill in Taiwan, has announced its combined sales revenue in May was NT$29.192 billion, decreasing by 1% M-O-M. CSC's carbon steel sales quantity in May was 779,000 tons, also down by 4% from 813,000 tons in April. However, since CSC has cut its July and August prices by about 5% and the company has to provide some extra price discount in May and June to its clients. Therefore, it caused CSC's combined before tax sales profit in May with only NT$2.101 billion, which has cut by 27% M-O-M. On the other hand, the current weak market demand may influence CSC's sales to stay low in whole Q3.
