According to customs data, Brazil imported 167,900 tons of steel flat products in April, rising by 38% from a month ago and increasing by 15% year on year.
Among them, the imports of coated steel products totaled 73,200 tons, jumping by 217% month on month and those of special alloy flats were at 53,300 tons, decreasing from 73,700 tons in March.
