Tata Steel Distribution Europe (TSDE) new slitting factory in Germany construction work is going to be completed. The new facility will start to run in January, 2013. It will increase the TSDE's capacity by about 120,000-130,000 tons per year. The company will focus on the automotive market: OEMs and suppliers in the future. Meanwhile, 2.2 million tons of output was sold to buyers in Europe including the UK market currently and the company expects that after the new slitting mill start to run, the future target selling volume can reach at 2.5 million tons per year.
