Due to falling steel prices and the weak demand in the Taiwanese domestic market, Taiwanese Tung Ho Steel's second-quarter sales were not as good as the figures in the same period of the previous year. Since the steel rebar prices have rebounded from the bottom, the market analysts expected that Tung Ho's rebar shipping volumes in this September may rise by 10% from this July and August. Also, the rising rebar price will help Tung Ho's September sales revenue to rise obviously and hit the annual record high in the fourth quarter.
