Kingfisher Is in Talks About Buying Two Large DIY Branches in Turkey

The British DIY store firm Kingfisher has revealed that it is in talks about buying two large DIY branches in Turkey that are currently owned by the German DIY group Praktiker. Kingfisher's Turkish subsidiary Koctas JV is to buy these stores. At the same time, Kingfisher is planning to enter the German market through its sales arm Screwfix. A total of four Screwfix branches are to open there in September 2014.
