Recently, Microsoft Bing initiated a global PK in Beijing, challenging Google that has been taking the lead in the US search engine market.
Insiders analyzed that the global PK is in line with the development strategy for the Chinese market released by Microsoft in February 2013 for Bing, claiming to grasp opportunity generated by English search demand among Chinese Internet users, meanwhile seeking for cooperation with second- and third-tier search engines in China.
