Chung Hung Steel, one of the major re-rollers in Taiwan announced to raise its export prices of hot rolled and cold rolled coils by around US$20/ton for September shipments, supported by higher demand. After the adjustment, its export prices of hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils reached US$570~US$575/ton FOB and US$670~US$675/ton FOB respectively. Besides, the company increased its domestic prices for hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils by NT$400/ton respectively. Chung Hung Steel expected that its sales volumes would reach 150,000~160,000 tons in July, higher than 125,555 tons in June.
