According to the disc quantity, swing type check valve could divided into single-plate swing type check valve, dual-plate swing type check valve, multi-plate swing type check valve. Single-plate swing tpye check valve are generally applicable to medium size pipe. When large size pipe select single-plate swing tpye check valve, for reduce the water hammer pressure, choose slow-closure type check valve for reduce the water hammer pressure is better. Dual-plate swing type check valve fitted to large size pipe. Butt-welded dual-plate swing type check valve has small structures, light weight. Multi-disc swing type check valve is fitted to large size pipe system. 3. Diaphragm type check valve has variety of structural type, used diaphragm for opening and closing. Dut to its good performance for water hammer pressure resistance, simple structure, low lost, developed quickly in recent years. But its working temperature and pressure are limited by diaphragm material. 4. Ball type check valve: body with full bore structure, traffic flow, small flow resistance. It used ball for disc, used for high viscosity, with suspended solids of industrial and somestic sewage pipe system. 5. The structure of butterfly type check valve is simillar to butterfly valve.
