Home theater seating producer RowOne and upholstery and case goods importer Jasper Home Furniture have promoted Laura Atkins to the newly created position of executive director of sales and marketing for both companies.
She joined RowOne in 2011 as director of sales and marketing and recently began serving in a similar role for Jasper Home Furniture.
Before joining RowOne and Jasper Home, she was a territory assistant manager and an executive assistant for Berkline for nearly nine years. She also previously worked as a graphics manager for England Inc.
In her new role, she will primarily oversee sales and marketing, including coordination of the companies’ sales force.
“In this newly created position, Laura is the logical choice to direct our continued growth in sales and improve our marketing position in the furniture industry,” said Robert Cribbs, president and owner of RowOne and Jasper Home. “Her background makes her the perfect individual to head up and meet business objectives.”
Atkins said she is excited about her new role at both companies.
