Commercial fleet management company Ryder System will be deploying more than 1,000 new automatic transmission trucks to expand its North American rental fleet.
The move is aimed at meeting the increasing demand from customers for improving fleet performance and driver job satisfaction.
Customers will be able to avail the benefits of automated transmission technology and enhanced fuel economy.
With smoother gear shifts, advanced safety features and different driving modes to accommodate different terrains and applications, the easy-to-operate transmissions also improves the experience for drivers.
