Sales of Lite-On power supply products hit 15-month high in June
Lite-On Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$10.43 billion(US$349.23 million)for June,up 2%on month and 4%on year.Among major product lines,sales of power supply devices hit a 15-month high in June,while LED lighting products grew 300%over the same month of 2011,according to the company.
For the first six months of 2012,revenues amounted to NT$58.1 billion,which were level with a year earlier.
Sales of power supply products grew 15%sequentially and 10%on year to a 15-month high in June,said the company.Factors including growing shipments of new models to clients and a continued expansion of the firm's high-end power management systems for cloud computing contributed to the high growth in the sector in the month,added the company.
Additionally,steady orders and a complete resumption of the company's LED plant in Thailand helped push sales of LED products in June,the company noted.
