RPC Tedeco-Gizeh, a UK-based manufacturer of injection molded open-top polypropylene containers, has developed new polypropylene-based Ppure containers for fresh and convenience food suppliers to create effective on-shelf appeal.
According to the company, the new containers offer transparency to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional APET formats and can be further enhanced and complemented by decoration options including printing and labeling.
Suitable for both hot and cold fill, the containers have been designed for fast and efficient throughput through all types of automated filling processes.
The light weight of the material reduces transport costs throughout the distribution chain and its ability to be recycled means it contributes to companies' carbon reduction targets.
RPC Tedeco-Gizeh's sales manager Willem-Jan van de Giessen said the Ppure containers represent a true market innovation, which will enable food manufacturers to maximize the appeal of their products.
"As well as creating eye-catching packs on shelf, their convenience and sustainability benefits are very much in line with current consumer and retailer demands," Giessen added.
