It's reported that the US steelmaker Nucor announced to raise rebar prices by US$11/ton for the new orders confirmed before October 14th and the deliveries no later than November 18th. Earlier, Gerdau North America also hiked its rebar prices by US$11/ton. Industry sources predicted that the other steelmakers in the US would also increase rebar prices.
