According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey exported 8,022 tons of coated steel sheets in this October, slumping by 49.71% from a month ago and decreasing by 55.53% year on year. In October, the country’s export valued generated by coated steel sheets totaled US$8.96 million, dropping by 46.32% month on month and falling by 53.12% year on year. In the January-October period, Turkey’s exports of coated steel sheets amounted to 183,577 tons, rising by 4.15% year on year. The export revenues totaled US$194.91 million, up by 5.41% year on year. In the given period of time, Russia was the largest importer of the Turkish coated steel sheets with 80,904 tons, slumping by 21.95% year on year.
