Russia’s steel pipe manufacturer TMK launched its financial result for the first nine months of this year. In the given period of time, TMK’s steel pipe shipments totaled 3.2 million tons, increasing by 1.7% year on year, driven by strong demand for OCTG pipes and large diameter pipe. Meanwhile, the company’s shipments of welded steel pipes totaled 1.393 million tons in January-September, increasing by 8.3%, boosted by rising demand for large diameter pipes and line pipes from Russian buyers and strong demand for welded OCTG from the US. In the third quarter alone, TMK’s steel pipe shipments totaled 1.060 million tons, falling by 2.1% from a quarter ago.
