The Average Steel Price in China Was up Slightly by 0.1% in H1

Cin the first half of this year, decreasing by 1.5% year on year, according to data released by the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In the first half of this year, the country's output of crude steel was at 34.7 million tons, decreasing by 4%; that of pig iron was at 25.1 million tons, down by 0.8%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago. Meanwhile, Russia's production of steel pipes totaled 4.9 million tons in the first half of this year, increasing by 7.1% year on year.
