According to data released by Mexico's economic secretary, the country's rebar exports totaled 189,531 tons in the second quarter of this year, rising by 10% from 171,751 tons in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the country's export values generated by rebar totaled US$130.2 million in the first quarter of this year, rising by 9.5% quarter on quarter. In the second quarter of this year, Colombia was the largest importer of the Mexican rebar with 89,788 tons worth US$63.29 million. Meanwhile, the US was the second largest one with 68,118 tons worth US$43.62 million.
