Vietnam has proposed to levy AD Duty for Stainless Steel Cold Roll Coils on Four Countries

It is reported that Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has proposed to levy antidumping (AD) tax on cold rolled stainless steel imported from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan. According to the news, the proposed tax rates are 6.45% for Fujian Southeast Stainless Steel Co., Ltd and 6.99% Lianzhong Stainless Steel Corporation. Indonesian steel makers will be taxed by 12.03% and Malaysia will be an anti-dumping tax rate of 14.38%. For Taiwan, the 30.73% rate is proposed for Yuan Long Stainless Steel Corp and 13.23% for Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco). The Ministry of Industry and Trade has received a properly documented compliant requesting the initiation of an antidumping proceeding concerning imports of certain cold-rolled stainless steel classified under the Vietnamese Customs Tariff Code: 7219.32.00; 7219.33.00; 7219.34.00; 7219.35.00; 7219.90.00; 7220.20.10; 7220.20.90; 7220.90.10; 7220.90.90 which submitted by POSCO VST Ltd., Co., and Inox Hoa Binh JSC in this May.
