Formulation development and clinical supplies solutions provider Xcelience is set to open a new 24,000ft2 facility in Tampa, Florida, US. The facility will provide primary and secondary packaging, labeling, distribution and warehouse services.
The new facility, which is Xcelience's second facility in the Tampa Bay area will be audited and approved for domestic as well as European clinical trials. It will enable Xcelience to double its headcount over the next three years.
Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation president and CEO Rick Homans said Xcelience has been an addition to its business community.
"Their continued growth and expansion is a testament to the quality of our workforce, and their presence is a significant asset as we work to expand our life sciences industry," Homans said.
