During the April 20-25 High Point Market, buyers visiting The Pavilions on Main 3 in the International Home Furnishings Center will have a chance to win one of four iPads while shopping.
Every time a buyer visits a Pavilions showroom, he or she will be given a ticket for a chance to win. The drawing will take place after the market, and winners will be notified by phone or email. Additionally, a secret prize patrol will also be roaming the Pavilions from 4 to 6 p.m. daily during the afternoon receptions and handing out $100 bills.
The Pavilions on Main 3 is sold out for the April market, and 50 exhibitors are scheduled to show furniture, rugs, wall art and decorative accessories, according to market officials. A total of 28 furniture and home accent producers will be showing in Pavilions for the first time, and 22 exhibitors have renewed or expanded their leases, market officials said.
Woodard Outdoor Furniture is scheduled to open its second High Point showroom in the Pavilions, supplementing the original showroom on the second floor of Market Square. In addition to outdoor furniture, Woodard offers umbrellas and accessory pieces.
"The Pavilions is a great place for new companies to enter the High Point Market," said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers, which owns the IHFC. "This temporary exhibit area has open spaces with great visibility from the aisles, so exhibitors can attract the attention of buyers as they walk the halls."
