ART, the association for the home accent and accent furniture segment of the home furnishings industry, announced the first stage of their rebranding process beginning with a new logo and tag line, "A Creative Home Furnishings Network".

A new Marketing Committee was formed last spring that included Robbin Wells, Dallas Market Center, Kellee Hollenback, Troy/CSL/Littman Brands and Vanessa Turney, Light by Design. They were charged to work on concepts to freshen and modernize the association's image. The first stage is presenting the new logo and tag line and to begin using the acronym ART in place of spelling out the association's full legal name. The second stage is a new website with additional member features launching this fall and the third stage is to incorporate the new look into all ART sponsored programs and marketing over the next year.

"The new tag line 'A Creative Home Furnishings Network' is a true reflection of the association's membership and our mission to foster design creativity. The new logo is modern and colorful, just like our members", said Sharon Davis, executive director of ART. "The marketing team has done an amazing job translating those principals."

The exclusive ART Card program will continue to use the old logo but it will be phased out over the next year and replaced with the new logo.
