Vaughan Furniture Is Moving to a New High Point Market Showroom at 206 E. Green Drive

Case goods specialist Vaughan Furniture is moving to a new High Point Market showroom at 206 E. Green Drive.

The company has occupied about 28,000 square feet in Plaza Suites for the past five years. The new space, previously occupied by Starmount Home Furnishings and its Nautica brand, is across the street from the Green Street entrance to the International Home Furnishings Center.

David Vaughan, president, said the company has remodeled the space to "develop a fresh and inviting atmosphere that marries up with our new lines."

The new space is about 17,000 square feet, but the company said that the new layout makes better use of that space than the former showroom. The company said it also seldom used all the space it had in Plaza Suites.

Vaughan will be open during the Sept. 9-10 Premarket, where it will showcase five new bedroom groups. At the October market, it also will show some new bedrooms in its Kathy Ireland Home line.

"This is a very exciting time for our company," said Taylor Vaughan, CEO. "Our distribution model of overseas and domestic warehouses is a framework that has proven successful in supplying some of the biggest names in the business with a great value and dependable service."
