Matt Smith has accepted the position of western division sales manager for EarthWerks luxury vinyl tile (LVT).
“With the substantial growth we have had nationwide, we see the need to increase our personnel to the EarthWerks LVT national sales team,” said Jonathan Train, president and CEO.
According to Amy Sadler, senior division manager, “Adding a western division will allow us to provide more focus on specific areas of the country.” Smith brings 15 years of flooring experience including companies such as Teregren Bamboo, Artistic Finishes and Armstrong. Smith will work with the company's existing southern and western sales team and look to increase its sales force over the next 12 months. Chris Killen has also accepted a position with EarthWerks as national sales manager–Canada. "As the company continues to expand, we have our sights set to grow the Canadian market. Chris will work closely with Amy to create an EarthWerks LVT line catered for Canada. He will also work closely with our existing Canadian sales team," said Train. Killen brings to EarthWerks over 15 years of flooring experience and nearly 30 years of sales management experience, including companies such as Tarkett–Canada, Stevens-Dufour Distribution and Domco. He will be based in Ontario, Canada.
