K2 Chair is a reinterpretation of the 6000 series chair (1970) by Friis & Moltke, which has sold more than 500.000 pcs. over time. The K2 Chair is created for education, conference and canteen purposes, with functionality and aesthetics as keywords.
The expression of the K2 High represents Friis & Moltke’s classic virtues as simplicity and high quality materials. It has a sharp graphical look that matches the rest of the K2 series. The idea clearly draws strong references to the popular Friis & Moltke school chair from the 1970s, just as Marcel Breuer Bauhaus’ chairs have been a source of inspiration for both the old and the new K2 Chair.
