The number of companies setting up stands at the German furniture supplier fair in ZOW is expected to be lower than at the comparable edition in 2011. A little over 400 businesses are registered to exhibit at the event, which takes place from 18 to 21 February 2013 at the Bad Salzuflen fairgrounds. This edition is compared with 2011 because many exhibitors now attend every other year, choosing to set up stands at the Interzum in Cologne in odd years. Some 671 companies were present at the ZOW in 2012 compared with 485 in 2011 when the Interzum was held.
ZOW’s organiser, Clarion Events Deutschland originally anticipated that almost 490 firms would reserve space for the fair again this year. The company believes that numbers will fall short of this forecast in part because much fewer Italian exhibitors will be in attendance after making up the largest international delegation in previous years.
