NBS: China's PPI Decreased by 1.5 Percent in October & CPI up 3.2%

In October of the current year, China's producer price index (PPI) decreased by 1.5 percent year on year and was unchanged month on month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Meanwhile, in October Chinese industrial producers' purchase prices were down 1.6 percent year on year and were up 0.1 percent from the previous month.

In the January-October period, China's PPI was down 2.0 percent and Chinese industrial producers' purchase prices were down 2.1 percent, both on year-on-year basis.

In addition, in October this year, China's consumer price index (CPI) was up 3.2 percent year on year and increased by 0.1 percent month on month.
