Attendees at Furniture/Today's Bedding Conference Will Be Taking The TGen Facility

Attendees at Furniture/Today's upcoming Bedding Conference here will be taking a tour of the TGen research facility that is on the front lines of the fight against pancreatic cancer and other deadly diseases.

The tour of the TGen facility in downtown Phoenix is set for the afternoon of May 8, the day the Bedding Conference begins.

Attendees who want to tour the TGen facility will meet at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler at 2 p.m. on May 8 for a bus ride to TGen. Officials there will conduct a tour of the facility and talk about the cutting-edge medical research being conducted there.

Joining the tour will be Roger Magowitz, charitable advisor to Houston-based Mattress Firm, whose Seena Magowitz Golf Classic, held in Phoenix each December, supports research done at TGen.

"In the mattress industry we believe we are helping people lead better lives," Magowitz said, "while the researchers and doctors at TGen are saving lives. I think it will be worthwhile to give Furniture/Today Bedding Conference attendees a look at the work being done at TGen to broaden their understanding of TGen and the scope of its activities."

"Furniture/Today, like many companies serving the mattress industry, is a big supporter of the Seena Magowitz Golf Classic and the lifesaving research activities that event supports," said David Perry, executive editor of Furniture/Today. "We encourage attendees interested in learning more about TGen and its mission to join us on this tour."

The tour is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., when the bus will return to the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort.
