The Sales of China Trucks Adds up to 1, 660, 000 Units in Jan. -Jul. 2015

According to the data from China Auto Association, China’s light trucks sales add up to 102,623 units including chassis, year-on-year growth of 7.6% down; it sells 917,171 units in the first seven months this year, year-on-year growth of 13% down. Foton Auto continues to occupy the top one in the industry for 18,688 units in July, y/y growth of 4.9% up and 166,430 units in Jan.-Jul. 2015. JAC takes up the second place for the sales of 104,109 units, y/y growth of 16.9% down and JMC follows it for 99,090 units, y/y growth of 0.5%.

Among the top 15 light truck builders in Jan.-Jul.2015, Sinotruk owns the biggest accumulated sales growth range, up to 258.1%, 32,734 units in total. In July 2015, China’s light truck output comes to 93,200 units, y/y growth of 5.41% down and 920,700 units in Jan.-Jul., 12.8% down.

Regarding the mini trucks, the sales volume adds up to 38,204 units including chassis in July 2015, y/y growth of 7.1% and 307,794 units in Jan.-Jul., y/y growth of 1.1%. SGMW sells 20,118 units in July, y/y growth of 29% and 129,547 units in Jan.-Jul., taking up the top one in the industry once more, the accumulated growth of 12.8%; Foton sells 55,239 units in the first seven months, 5.2% down; Chongqing Changan sells 50,930 units, 4.4% down.

In the first seven months, the sales growth rate of Jinbei is the biggest, up to 252.5% among top 14 mini truck builders, 7,819 units in total. In July 2015, China’s mini trucks output volume reaches 36,100 units, including chassis, y/y growth of 2.46% and 300,300 units in Jan.-Jul.2015, 1.91% down.
