Bottles and containers are included in the material, timesofindia.indiatimes.com reported.
The Goa Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) (Second Amendment) Bill, 2013 has been introduced by the Environment minister Alina Saldanha in a bid to allow the government to levy a tax that will not be more than 2%.
By the amendment of Section 7 of the Goa Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 1996, the government will collect tax to promote bags and containers sale and usage.
