Bob Mills Furniture Will Expand Its Central Texas Presence with The Opening of a Store

Bob Mills Furniture will expand its central Texas presence with the opening of a store and warehouse here, according to a report by the Waco Tribune Herald.

The five-store, Oklahoma City-based retailer acquired the nearly 37,000-square-foot former RoomStore location at 5400 Franklin Ave. for more the $2 million, the report said.

The retailer had been weighing options, including opening a distribution center and a retail center in the space. Bob Mills Chief Operating Officer Bryan Dyson told the paper the company bought the property a year ago because of the success it has had in Temple, Texas, and at its other stores in the middle of the state.

In addition to Temple, the retailer operates stores in Oklahoma City, Odessa, Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas.
