An auction of former domestic case goods manufacturer Linwood Furniture's factory assets will take place later this month.
The auction will be held July 24 at 10 a.m. at 3979 Old Linwood Road in Lexington. Items will be available for preview July 23 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Online bids can be submitted via www.bidspotter.com.
Up for auction is Linwood's 800,000 square foot building with machinery, finished case goods, unfinished furniture, tools, hardware, lumber, works in progress and scrap metal, among other items to be sold.
Linwood filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last spring. It was converted to a Chapter 7 filing for liquidation in September.
