Gucci Italian luxury brand celebrated the opening of a new flagship inside Taipei 101,Taiwan's tallest tower.The store is the second for Gucci in the Taiwanese capital,but the first to stock the full Gucci line.
The 9,720 square-feet flagship was designed by Gucci creative director Frida Giannini,who also designed limited-edition items like Boston bags and silk scarves inspired by Taipei 101.The quarter of proceeds are set to go towards Taiwan children's charities.
39-year-old Chinese actress Li Bing Bing,a brand ambassador for Gucci,cut the ribbon to welcome some of the city's chicest guests,who had the chance to see Italian craftsmanship up close and personal thanks to Gucci's live Artisan Corner workshop.
"Being responsible in the way that we conduct our business is a fundamental part of our DNA,as are our values of quality,creativity,and Italian artisanal craftsmanship for which our brand is renowned,"Gucci China president Carol Shen told WWD.
