Domestic upholstery producer EJ Lauren is making its official High Point debut at the Oct. 19-24 furniture market.
The company will be exhibiting at 310 S. Main St. in a freestanding 10,000-square-foot building that showcases classic features including tin ceilings, brick walls and classic crown moldings, officials said. The building also has a kitchen and serving bar, and EJ Lauren will provide food and drinks throughout the day for market retail customers.
"We're exhibiting in a beautiful historic building that is the perfect match for our lifestyle furnishings," said Tony Ocampo, owner and president. "It's a relaxing setting that is very easy to shop."
Prior to a soft opening at the April High Point Market earlier this year, the company had only shown in Las Vegas. Company officials said that plans are under way for a grand opening event during the October market.
