In Italy, pressure is being exerted on prices for gluelam beams again at the start of the year. Competition amongst suppliers is stiff for the few orders that have appeared on the market since the beginning of the year. Prices for standard gluelam-beam dimensions and picked products of visible quality (vi) have correspondingly fallen again by roughly €5/m3 against the fourth quarter of 2012.
