Leather upholstery resource Violino has signed a three-year lease for a 14,000-square-foot permanent showroom at the Las Vegas Market.
The company said the new exhibit space, World Market Center B-870, is being renovated and will be open for the next market, Jan. 26-30.
"We've shown at the last two (Las Vegas) markets on a temporary basis and we've been very happy with the results - not just with West Coast business, but with business nationally," said Chris Stevens, president of sales and marketing for the North American market.
He said the company will celebrate the showroom opening by unveiling 15 new stationary seating groups and five new motion groups. The groups, which feature sofa price points of $899 to $1,399, include a variety of contemporary and transitional styles.
Stevens said several of the new products include Violino's popular memory foam seat cushioning, and all of the motion groups are available with power reclining mechanisms.
Violino has its corporate office in Hong Kong and a factory in Shenzhen, China. The company also owns a two-story showroom building at 123 S. Hamilton St. in High Point.
