Registration is open for UV/EB courses offered through the Radiation Curing Program (RCP) and filling up fast. Although the professional development courses have rolling registration, the three advanced courses are also offered for graduate credit and tied in with the Spring semester at the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science & Forestry (SUNY-ESF). These courses were developed in collaboration with RadTech International.
Because they're taken online, organizers say that RCP courses offer flexibility to accommodate a busy schedule and can be taken at any computer terminal, anywhere and at any time within the session period. They are taught by leading industry professionals, including Michael Idacavage, Ph.D., Susan Bailey, Ph.D., Molly Hladik, Ph.D. Mark Driscoll, Ph.D. Dan Montoney and Kevin Daley.
The two short courses being offered were developed to provide a fundamental understanding of radiation curing technology used in many manufacturing processes. They include the new and exciting area of 3D printing using UV and a principles course for those just entering the field.
Short courses: Basics of UV Curable 3D Printing Principles of Energy Curing Technologies The three advanced graduate-level courses further explore UV/EB curing principles and applications--plus, students can earn a Certificate in Radiation Curing from SUNY if all three courses are taken for credit.
Advanced 500-level graduate courses Introduction to Polymer Coatings Radiation Curing of Polymer Technologies Radiation Curing Equipment.
