Consumers Go to Retail Stores to Get Ideas on How to Put Their Rooms

Tags: Furniture

Consumers go to retail stores like yours to not only purchase furniture, but to also get ideas on how to put their rooms together. In spite of this, most furniture stores display furniture arranged in open floor plans that make it difficult to display wall decor, or show customers how they can arrange furniture and accessories in dramatic and creative room settings.

When creating furniture displays you might, therefore, make an effort to either create walled vignettes or use the existing walls and corner areas in your store to  to define areas and illustrate creative ways to display furniture and accessories in their homes.

Turn an ordinary corner of the showroom into an inviting space that your customers are drawn to by incorporating seating, lighting, artwork and small accessories. Show customers a way they might not consider to display artwork over a console table or use a patterned lampshade that complements a featured piece of furniture. Again, incorporate walls into you displays and make this consideration a priority. Choose accent pieces with clean lines and avoid bold graphic patterns to please customers with different tastes.
