The first collaboration by Jean Nouvel with Ligne Roset dates back to 1989, when he realized the couch Profils. Jean Nouvel in 1990 then creates the sofa for Ligne Roset, the sofa and chair Elmentaire collection and Saint-James (bridge, chair, ottoman, desk and dressing table). The collection Saint-James has been specially designed to furnish the hotel and restaurant namesake luxury Bouliac, near Bordeaux.
Ligne Roset in 2011 repeats the Saint-James chairs and the sofa and chair element with the new name of Simple Bridge.
