Nube, created in 1958 by Antonio Nicoli, who still guides it today, has earned a special place in the international furniture market. Nube has earned its respect by virtue of an expert mix of industrial craftsmanship, attention to comfort and quality of products, as well as expert guidance through the design and close collaboration between two professionals such as Carlo Colombo and Marco Corti.
At the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan the novelty of Nube is confirmed, the company reasserting its strong points - the seating mechanism that transforms a simple sofa into a chaise lounge, the long lasting metal and wood frames and oversized measures built to fit the needs of customers – use of different materials for the coverings (fabric and leather) and frames (metal and wood), as well as designs by both renowned and promising new designers, all of which are highly creative.
With the Sir easy chair and stool, Carlo Colombo finishes the discussion begun in 2007 with the namesake chair, now with a stainless steel structure joined to curved multi-layered wood with a rosewood essence and opaque lacquer.

Colombo has named the sofa Book Nest, available in leather or fabric, and boasting a small library inserted into the backrest, which makes it perfect to be used even in the middle of the livingroom. Its strong point is in the new seating technology that stretches as well as in the raisable backrest that allows for a position of absolute relaxation.

The sober elegance of the design is reminiscent of the products conceived of and designed by Marco Corti, who has helped to enhance the mix of different materials. With the Softwood easy chair, a solid wood frame joins the leather armrests, the polyurethane foam padding is upholstered in fabric or leather.

While the easy chair Stream, has a painted curved stainless steel frame supporting an internal multi-layered curved wood structure, padded with polyurethane and upholstered in
either leather or fabric.
Flatter, the sofa designed by owner Antonio Nicoli, featuring a lightweight structure in painted curved stainless steel, and polyurethane padded seat cushions while the arms and backrest are stuffed with down.
