SPTS Technologies Ltd of Newport, Wales, UK (an Orbotech company that manufactures etch, PVD and CVD wafer processing solutions for the MEMS, advanced packaging, LED, high-speed RF on GaAs, and power management device markets) has won multiple awards at this year's seventh annual British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) Management Team Awards at a ceremony held on 25 June in London. Produced in association with Grant Thornton UK LLP, the BVCA Management Team Awards recognize the UK's top private equity and venture capital-backed companies.
SPTS won three Wales regional awards: Large Buyout Private Equity-backed Management Team of the Year, International Impact Management Team of the Year, and CEO of the Year (for Kevin Crofton). SPTS then also received the UK National Award for Large Buyout Private Equity-backed Management Team of the Year.
